No. 8th Grade  Ads must be completed before payment can be made. 

When is the final deadline for 8th Grade Tribute Ads? 
Friday, October 15, 2021 is the final deadline.

Will there be an extension or another opportunity to purchase an 8th Grade Tribute if I miss the deadline? 
No. 

Can I purchase an 8th Grade Ad if I have missed the final deadline?
No.  

Can I split my yearbook or 8th Grade tribute ad purchase into payments?
Yes, please choose JPay 3-payment option during checkout and purchase process.

Can I pay for an 8th grade ad with a check?
No. All ads must be purchased online with a credit or debit card.  

Should I use a specific web browser to create my 8th Grade Tribute Ad?
Yes.  For best experience, please use Google Chrome for desktop/laptop. 

I am able to upload images, but not place in the design.  What now?
For best experience, please use Google Chrome browser as instructed above; not Safari, not MS Edge, not Firefox.

When I try to place a photo, I receive a message that the image is not high enough resolution.
Images may be rejected for resolution if the orientation of the image does not match the design image.  An image taken in vertical orientation (portrait) may not be high enough resolution to place in a horizontal orientation (Landscape) photo box.

Are there any specific file format and resolution requirements for designing an 8th Grade Tribute Ad?

Yes, all images must be 300 DPI or greater to be included in your 8th Grade Tribute Ad.  Low resolution images will be rejected by the designer portal.  Please be sure all images for ad design are JPEG format, high resolution and not watermarked.
  • No PNG files
  • No screen shots
  • No TIFF files
  • No HEIC format files (iPhone specific format)
  • No images from social media (They are low resolution)
  • No watermarked images

If I submit an image that appears blurry or pixelated on my phone or computer, how will it print? 
Blurry or pixelated images (originals) used to design the ad will result in blurry and pixelated images when the ad is printed.

How can I tell if my iPhone images are HEIC?  
Settings, Camera, Formats, Most Compatible will not be checked if your photos are in HEIC format.

If my photos are in HEIC format, how can I convert them to Jpeg?
We recommend using iMazing HEIC converter.  Download here --> https://imazing.com/heic 
You can also Google search "Covert HEIC to Jpeg" for other options. 

My confirmation at checkout says my order will be shipped to my home. Will the ad be included in the yearbook?
Yes.  All 8th Grade tribute ads ordered via Jostens will be included in the yearbook and will not be sent to your home. 

How can I check to make sure I have purchased a yearbook?
Search your email for JOSTENS. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, please call 1-877-767-5217 and Press 1 to speak with a Jostens customer service representative. Once connected, please ask to verify your 2022 yearbook purchase.  Jostens Customer service is available Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm  EST.

Why did I receive a notification that I have not ordered a yearbook when I have an email confirmation from Jostens?
  • The parent name may have been entered at the time of purchase instead of a student name.
  • The name at the time of ordering may have been transposed by the purchaser. *The First and Last name were entered in the wrong fields.  Example:  First and last Name of John Smith were entered by purchaser as Smith John.
  • You may have ordered yearbooks for multiple students under the name of one student.
  • You may have located a confirmation number from a previous year (Please verify month/year purchase date located in upper right of email confirmation.
  • Your method payment may have been declined by your credit card company or accidentally disputed.
  • You may have chosen the 3 payment option and one of the payments was declined by your credit card company.
  • You may not have ordered a yearbook.
